Adventures in Haymarsh
A neighbor sent us a picture of one of our cows.

Our morning started with such promise. No wind, sunny, and crisp. Then @ 7:30, we got a call, cows are out. Andrew, the three little ones, and I got them back in. Grandpa hauled two quick loads of water from town but all day the herd was uneasy. Then after Andrew and Ambrose took off to check them, it was decided that after they discovered 5 cows who brought themselves to winter pasture, it was time to move them….the move started after dark and 5 amazing people showed up to help with 15 minutes heads up…we were a friend in need today and we know our good neighbors better, we are blessed to have them.
A full moon to move cattle by.
A full day that ended well.

We had a hydrant have problems…Opp Well & Drilling came and made short work of fixing the problem.
My sweets gave me this book for my birthday. I thought I would share part of the introduction… May anyone reading this have a truly blessed Advent… Christ the King Sunday is next Sunday the end of the liturgical year.

Andrew canned the sauerkraut from the cabbage from our garden, now he’s out fencing the next pasture that we are moving to.

We received a dusting of snow 🌨️. Andrew has been asked to help with piano 🎹

Today marks the first day of me turning 109! 🥳

Growing up the families of the parish would have the parish priest join them for a meal. We invited Fr. for supper tonight.

After this summer/fall, this Crew could probably be considered professional water haulers!

The neighbors’ grandchildren have outgrown this play set and they gave it to our children.
