Finding Balance

Andrew and I strive to Say the Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3pm…the days when we are able to fit it in are the Best Days.  St. Faustina…pray for us!  Live with Joy, friends!  We love finding the balance of not being scrupulous and not being presumptuous but Living that Beautiful Joy filled Christ Centered Life!

Today’s Meditation
“Let the sinner know that he will be tortured throughout all eternity, in those senses which he made use of to sin. I am writing this at the command of God, so that no soul may find an excuse by saying there is no hell, or that nobody has ever been there, and so no one can say what it is like. I, Sister Faustina, by the order of God, have visited the abysses of hell so that I might tell souls about it and testify to its existence.”
—St. Faustina Kowalska (741)

October 🍁🧡🍁

Enjoy your October Sunday 🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
This came across my email today, thought it was worth sharing…a good message! Makes me never want to be critical of anyone. My Sister once told me, “Look at everyone like they are doing their best, don’t judge, let God do that part.” Wise words!

Quote of the Day
“Build an oratory within yourself, and there have Jesus on the altar of your heart. Speak to Him often while you are doing your work. Speak to Him of His holy love, of His holy sufferings and of the sorrows of most holy Mary.”
–St Paul of the Cross

So blessed to have my 3 Treasures home with me!🧡🎃🧡
“It’s snowing Mom! ❄️ Should we go gather the eggs?”🥚
Such a great book to read as a couple! Applicable to husbands and wives. We read it once already and are reading it again because it has such practical tips on how to love & serve each other.

12 Miles

We just wrapped up a 12 mile cattle drive.  Awesome helpers made the long drive go smoothly!

11 riders, ages 7-42 (& a 2 year old & a 14 month old for a bit.) Helping build the next generation .🤠❤️🤠
“There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” ~ Winston Churchill

💒❤️15 Years❤️💒

We publicly renewed our wedding vows today!

Love Coffee ☕❤️. I appreciate it when my husband gifts me time to go to the beautician. 💖 Feminine mystique is a beautiful aspect of life.🥰
💖 First time a daughter accompanied me on a “Feminine Mystique” outing.💞 I appreciate the opportunity to get all “dolled up.”💒
Crystal Anniversary ❤️
❤️Totus Tuus❤️

Chums

Grandpa set up a playdate for our boys to have some school friends out to collect and chuck corn bundles… Many hands make light work!  The “town kids” really enjoyed seeing the sheep and poultry and other animals when they were done hauling bundles.

Andrew made some homemade pretzels to go with the chili I made…gotta feed the crew and they will for surely eat these.😋
💖 Thank you dear chum.💖

Daily Verse

“If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, his religion is vain. Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world.”–James 1:26-27

Jacobson Cowboys & Cowgirls 🤠

My ❤️ belongs to this electrical engineer. Heading out to a day of moving cattle, taking down electrical fence and fencing for the next three cattle drives and weaning. It’s starting to get too cold for our youngest one to be out all day fencing, makes me sad when we can’t spend all day together… the older ones always vie to prove that they’re mature enough, capable enough and able to spend the day with Dad. I love the sense of belonging that is just part of farm family life.
