After school job

Don’t attempt without a professional horse trainer present and a helicopter mother, too!

Little Farrier trimming his ponies hooves.
Are you able to tell which one is trimmed?
A treat for the pony after the training session.

Culvert

Kelvin is here to put in the culvert today.

Hauling away the concrete chunks.
He’s been standing there and watching for 20 minutes!
Making the waterway a bit deeper.
Ken, our neighbor, came with his backhoe to dig a trench.
Teamwork!
Almost done!
Sloppy joes, chips, vegetable soup, fruit, & a cherry pie for the workers!
The 80 year old is back at it, making the waterway so the water moves through the yard more expediently than this spring.

Honored Guest

We found it an honor to host a party for this gentleman. His Cross in life is much heavier and larger than most of ours! Thank you nieces and nephews for providing the musical talent!

Happy birthday on April 17th!

Skunk!

The skunks are coming out of hibernation! Simon found a surprise in the 🐔 coop. Andrew and he had an exciting morning. Grandpa made sure Mr. Skunk won’t be eating any more eggs. Phew…pooey!

April storms…bring snowbanks? Aren’t April showers supposed to bring May flowers?

We lucked out this time and are only dealing with a nasty wind and overcast sky. I have been thinking about our friends and family in Harwood, ND that are dealing with flooding and having access issues to their homes. Also, I have been thinking of and praying for our friends and family in Eastern ND and MN. April storms can be disheartening and I sure feel bad for the baby calves!
