Adventures in Haymarsh

Sleet & Rain

But they came and gave it a whirl until the gumbo clay drove them out.

A view driving to Haymarsh… not quite to main street…we were so happy the 40+ mile per hour winds didn’t blow the house away!
Not a bungalow, not a cottage, not a ranch that’s an “Andrew” style house.
Doh!  They almost got it closed up before the first winter storm.  They can handle the rain, sleet, and the wind, but they didn’t want to keep tracking the gumbo clay in the house and on the roof.

This is an absolutely “Andrew” style house! I think he always loved all the nooks and crannies in our previous house that we lived in on 5th street. He never thought to highly of our flat house we live in today! But our old knees sure do love our flat house now! Your “Andrew” style house is looking more beautiful every day!
