The snow is making me just want to tell the fellas, “just go home, I’m moving in and going to finish it myself!”  Patience does not come easy for me!  However, they are doing such a gorgeous job, I’m excited to see what the inside will look like!!!

A good friend of mine who just went through this process last year said building a house is like the labor process of having a child. I feel like we’re at a 7, only 3 more cm to go!

With winter coming on, this is a relief!

Happy All Saints Day!  For multiple reasons November has always been my favorite month 🙂. The plumber was here today and the electrician and his crew have completed their work for now.  The insulation people were here today too.

Goody gumdrops! I love attached garages.  I will also appreciate the mudroom/breezeway between the garage and the house.

The siding seems to be endless!  I’m happy they are doing it, not me!

God provided us with good weather to wean calves yesterday. All in all the day ended well.

I don’t think I’m the only one in this world that finds manure hauling one of the most enjoyable jobs ever!  There’s so much satisfaction in it! Number 1 you’re making the corrals cleaner for the weaning calves, so that they can remain healthy…Number 2 you get to see your work immediately.  Such a rewarding job!  Also, on a windy day like today, I sure appreciate the tractor cab.  Thanks Grandpa Bob!  I know some fellas like to say the aroma that is involved is the sweet smell of money, but I don’t think it tastes very good!

So neat to see this done.
