Adventures in Haymarsh

Morning Pictures

The large roll is fiber optic cable that will run straight to the house.

Fiber optic:  Vital for Andrew’s work.
I’m getting extremely excited about moving in here!
The gumbo clay the Carpenters didn’t want to keep dragging in yesterday.

Sleet & Rain

But they came and gave it a whirl until the gumbo clay drove them out.

A view driving to Haymarsh… not quite to main street…we were so happy the 40+ mile per hour winds didn’t blow the house away!
Not a bungalow, not a cottage, not a ranch that’s an “Andrew” style house.
Doh!  They almost got it closed up before the first winter storm.  They can handle the rain, sleet, and the wind, but they didn’t want to keep tracking the gumbo clay in the house and on the roof.

Fall Cattle Drive

Once we got past the kinks in the beginning, it was a nice cattle drive.

Moving closer to home for winter.
Just crossed Highway 49.
The “A” team on their horses and Don in his side by side getting directions for the second cattle drive.
A second, shorter cattle drive, (way in the distance,) headed our way… smooth sailing.
Cattle paradise!
