With this warm and dry autumn our Saturdays are so full! Typically we don’t get this time of year to work on projects. By now, it’s usually too cold for the children to be outside for too long.

Ginger, the girls, and I worked on tearing down fence all day. We worked from right after breakfast until after dark.
Meanwhile, Ambrose and Daddy finished up this section.
Simon & Ignatius continued to work on rebuilding the old straw shed. Grandpa is so proud of them. He’s so impressed with what they’re doing. All on their own. Simon purchased his own wood and uses old supplies to rebuild it.
Back to hauling water. God is blessing us with weather that gets into the 50s and 60s, I dread it when it starts freezing. Then it’s a real science, to get the cows enough water, and yet not freeze up the tank. We feel so blessed to have that heated shop. It has made the world of difference from the last drought 6 years ago.
