When God’s good Earth puts forth the harvest!

There was Mass at St. Clements yesterday.

A fun family day, enjoyed by all!  It was good to see Simon’s hard work training his pony pay off at the rodeo today.  We really enjoyed the Grant County Rodeo in Carson, ND.

A beautiful morning we had…Feeling Grateful & Blessed.   I Thank God for these moments and try to cache them for when the tough times/days come.

I love Sundays!  No work!  Go to Mass thanking God for another week of life and find recreation!  I’m a very proud Aunt of these nieces and nephews!  So happy that they have developed a skill they’ll be able to enjoy their entire lives.  Others enjoy their music too! They play in Minnesota next week and Montana in September.  Their ages range 8-13 years old.

The mower broke down…but Andrew was able to fix it.  Simon and I had a warm afternoon working concessions for 3 hours.  The hay was cutting so well that it was hard for Andrew to quit haying to help out but he said he enjoyed the time with his children and attending the Fair.

My mother, who made excellent Vietnamese food, made the best field lunches… Until I learn how she made those meals (man do I miss her cooking!) …my husband and sons have to settle for bologna and cheese sandwiches and warmed up cheeseburgers.
