God’s blessed me with the most amazing friends and family!♥️
On our way to Swimming on Sunday! To celebrate my aging self.
Then treated to a tasty meal. Yum!
My age in hexadecimal…this is what happens when one is married to an engineer.

Weaning Steers

Today we weaned steers with the help of Don, Tracy, Glenn, Chelsea, and Andy.  It was a blessed and safe weaning.

It was a foggy, damp, and chilly morning.
Yesterday, Grandpa and I had to doctor a sick heifer.
For a change of pace I made some no-bake white chocolate, marshmallow, peanut butter treats for the helpers.
& Seven Layer Bars. They are one of my favorites.
Andrew is taking part of the afternoon and flattening out the extra scoria in our yard.

Bacon 🥓

He is curing his own bacon. Local butchers are booked out until next summer. Desperate times call for desperate measures.😄
Thank goodness for beauticians! Once in a blue moon I get away to get my haircut and I sure appreciate it!
This little lady decided to start walking last week… It is such a fun journey to see her reach milestones. Too many parents don’t get the great blessing of watching their child learn to walk and yet, God has given Andrew and I four chances to see our babies walk. Praise Him!

Happy All Saints Day!✝️

We started this little tradition last year on all Saints Day going around and gathering our saint statues, nightlights and holy water fonts. It’s a good reminder of all of the heavenly intercessors we have that intercede for us in our daily lives and/or in our time of need.

Happy End of October

Cookie making crew preparing for all of the Halloween parties 🎃
Little boy blue come blow your horn 🎶… wait we want those yearlings in the corn.🌽
Good ‘ol Cowboy Don helped me move the herd on Tuesday to their 2nd to last pasture for the year.
In their new pasture with feed up to their chests.
They enjoyed decorating gourds.
Monday’s egg collection crew.
They all had to move up a size or two on their winter outdoor clothing.
They made a snowman at the Jacobson grandparents’ house.
Enjoyed a visit from one of the Greatest!
Andrew brought home a used family minivan last night, we’re looking forward to the roominess on our next long trip.
Our neighbor is replacing a rusted out culvert that leads in to the church yard. God bless him!
Watching as the crew heads out for chores.
Helping me keep the mudroom clean.
An article sent to me by a Fargo friend…old, but still interesting. I’ve seen it from the highway, but haven’t driven up to it.
Happy Halloween 🎃
Andrew’s homemade pizzas.

❄️

I’m not sure if I’ll ever get excited about snow falling before December 23 but being around the young ones and seeing their excitement over the first snowfall, is pretty fun to see❄️

The chickens are questioning this white, fluffy stuff.
💗
Last year he was the baby on the sled, this year he’s the scout up ahead.
Sibling love 💛
