Happy Mother’s Day 🌹

Life is brief. Appreciate your mother if she is still of this world. Seeing my mother in my children is a powerful experience and hearing the good memories they have of her when we visited her grave was endearing.
Lake Sakakawea on our way to the State Music Competition.
Andrew accompanied 2 high school students at State Music, one was a cousin. This was a fun adventure.
Blast from the past. Time flies. This came up on my phone a few days ago.
2008. Where have the years gone?
Porterhouse steak, homemade french fries, salad and Moscato wine. He made me feel spoiled ❤️🌹❤️
A friend shared some of her perennials with me. Andrew so sweetly transplanted them for me.

Morning Chores

Woke up and was able to do chores with my honey.  Those are the best days, Looking forward to when that is the norm.💖. Praying my children are able to find husbands/wives (if they’re called to the marriage vocation) that they enjoy being around them for work and leisure.  It’s good to be married to one’s BEST friend.

We had to chase in calves this morning, the heavy snow we received in April is tearing down fences everywhere.
Professional fence fixer.
The goose/duck pond looks more like a lake this morning. 🌅
Watching geese and ducks is as much relaxing as watching a fireplace.
Brown speckled cochins.

Digging Out

That Andrew, he cracks me up!  Keeping humor in times of seriousness, helps keep a person sane.  He sent me a picture of Grandpa’s milk cow.  Today we begin the process of digging out and meeting everyone’s needs.

“Matilda says, “Good Morning.”
Simon has snowshoes on, Andrew should get a pair.
Daddy got the snowplow working. He needed to fix the PTO shaft.

Chicken Coop

We had Grandpa and Grandma Jacobson come for a visit and we moved the chicken coop closer to our house.  We will still need to do some more work for it’s final spot, but for now we are happy with the new location.

Thank you for the picture Grandpa.
Thank you for the picture Grandma.
This nice fellow, and a distant cousin, built us a nice table and some benches for the kitchen area.
