We had wind damage in June. It took down portions of the weaning corral. Grandpa, the Littles, and I worked on some this morning.

Hard to say goodbye to some of these beauties… but they didn’t pick up in the cycles they needed to and we have bills to pay.

After we helped Daddy and Grandpa load up the heifers, we had to move some salt and mineral. We enjoyed our beautiful early autumn morning chores.

A book we’re reading for Well Read Mom this year! So good!

Her teacher loved her gift.

Root crops are bearing this year. So we’ll have potatoes, carrots, onions, and beets. Not much else though.

We did get some Jade beans.

Meanwhile, our oldest rode one pony out two miles away and led the other, then rode the other one and led the other back two miles home.

He made it home, right before a rainstorm!

If you have room in your prayers, 🙏 please pray for us to have sufficient moisture. Our stockdams need to fill, the 🦆 pond is empty. Hauling water takes 4 hours a day, not counting fill time.
