Daddy

Andrew is intentional in one on one time with his children….here he and our 3rd are out running fence lines.

Pretty proud Aunt here …my nieces and nephews made the line up.
Praying this crew encourages each other to live the lives God designed for them. Kindergarten Graduation was yesterday. It seems like unless a person has a strong virtuous character they may succumb to the world, the flesh, and the devil. But, if a group can be good and pure, they can encourage each other to sainthood. May these pure Little Treasures help each other to heaven!
My siblings are sharing their tasty looking rhubarb desserts. Here’s Maria’s masterpiece.
Mya’s “Upside Down Rhubarb Cake.”

Cattle Drive

We had an adventurous and arduous cattle drive.Β  There were approximately 20 new calves that had to be caught and trailered as the 2 mile walk was too long for them.

All’s well that ends well.
Our 9 year old made a bouquet.
Filling the drill to go plant forge barley.

73

Mom’s birthday is today.Β  She’d be 73.Β  I noticed that I’m pondering the afterlife more today.Β  Does that happen once a person loses their mother?

Happy memories 😊

Happy Mother’s Day 🌹

Life is brief. Appreciate your mother if she is still of this world. Seeing my mother in my children is a powerful experience and hearing the good memories they have of her when we visited her grave was endearing.
Lake Sakakawea on our way to the State Music Competition.
Andrew accompanied 2 high school students at State Music, one was a cousin. This was a fun adventure.
Blast from the past. Time flies. This came up on my phone a few days ago.
2008. Where have the years gone?
Porterhouse steak, homemade french fries, salad and Moscato wine. He made me feel spoiled ❀️🌹❀️
A friend shared some of her perennials with me. Andrew so sweetly transplanted them for me.

Morning Chores

Woke up and was able to do chores with my honey.Β  Those are the best days, Looking forward to when that is the norm.πŸ’–. Praying my children are able to find husbands/wives (if they’re called to the marriage vocation) that they enjoy being around them for work and leisure.Β  It’s good to be married to one’s BEST friend.Β Β

We had to chase in calves this morning, the heavy snow we received in April is tearing down fences everywhere.
Professional fence fixer.
The goose/duck pond looks more like a lake this morning. πŸŒ…
Watching geese and ducks is as much relaxing as watching a fireplace.
Brown speckled cochins.

Digging Out

That Andrew, he cracks me up!  Keeping humor in times of seriousness, helps keep a person sane.  He sent me a picture of Grandpa’s milk cow.  Today we begin the process of digging out and meeting everyone’s needs.

“Matilda says, “Good Morning.”
Simon has snowshoes on, Andrew should get a pair.
Daddy got the snowplow working. He needed to fix the PTO shaft.
