Tractor

Our tractor is back from the tractor doctor, we sure missed it when it was -68 wind-chill but will appreciate it if we get more snow. It basically had an overhaul.

“Green” cattle eating stored forage without an ounce of diesel used! It’s been very foggy these last few days.

Timely

Quote of the Day

“Think well. Speak well. Do well. These three things, through the mercy of God, will make a man go to Heaven.”–St. Camillus

Today’s Meditation:

β€œJesus will turn your sorrow into joy. One can only imagine the shock and bewilderment the Apostles felt when the Lord told them he must go away. Though they could not understand it at the time, his departure was for their benefit. The same is true of the unexpected setbacks and tragedies we experience in this life . . . When I consider the times when I have been confounded by events that seemed so contrary to what I thought God wanted for me, I should be mindful that they were permitted by the Lord’s inscrutable providence for my own good, as difficult as that might be to fathom.”—Patrick Madrid, p. 251

Patience

Due to our Baby needing medical attention, she and I were away from home for a few days.Β  Andrew, the children, and Grandpa did a great job holding down the fort and making sure life went on smoothly.

Helping Daddy with early morning chores, it was foggy.
Inside chore time. πŸ˜‚
Happy to be heading home.

Daughters

6 month and 4 year old pictures. Andrew and I are blessed beyond measure!

β€œA smiling baby is nothing less than having a little bit of living heaven in your arms.” – Unknown
β€œThe smile of a child expands the universe.” – Charles de Leusse

Roller Skating

What a blessing for such beautiful weather in January! Living it up while we can.πŸ’›πŸ™πŸŒž
Dr. Mary and Dr. Lucy were supposed to be taking a nap but had to quickly do a life-saving surgery before they laid down for their beauty rest.πŸ˜‚
