Beans, Beautiful Beets, and Bell Peppers, & More, oh my!

I think Simon grew the most beautiful beets I’ve ever seen, Ambrose’s onions are the best of ours yet! Simon’s bell peppers are gorgeous and Ignatius’s carrots look wonderful! Not to mention Andrew’s tasty cucumbers!

And those beet tops are so tasty and so healthy! Definitely one of my favorite things out of the garden!!!
Cutest bean pickers.
We love peppers in our soups, casseroles, roasts, eggs, etc, etc, etc
We’re kicking off the cucumber salad season with Andrew’s cucumbers!😋
Heavenly food: our favorite meals are the home raised meals.💛💛💛🥒🥬🫑🍅🥔

The Energy!

Andrew and I are greatly appreciative of our neighbor with his quick cutting machine and Grandpa has been the Energizer bunny keeping up with the baling and hauling. I’ve just helped move between fields and Andrew did get a chance to make 53 bales this morning.

This young man gets more ground covered than most men get done by noon. Praising God he is healthy enough to do that, also praying he learns the oh so important balancing act of prayer, work, and recreation.

Quote of the Day

“The Cross is the way to Paradise, but only when it is borne willingly.”— St. Paul of the Cross

When a 4, 2, and 1 year old shake out the tablecloth…😂

Good Reminder

Quote of the Day
“I will glory not because I am righteous, but because I am redeemed; I will glory not because I am free from sins, but because my sins are forgiven me. I will not glory because I have done good nor because someone has done good to me, but because Christ is my advocate with the Father and because the blood of Christ has been shed for me.”— St. Ambrose
