Animal Support 💛🤎💛

Some folks have pet dogs, some folks have pet fish, some have pet parakeets, we have pet cows. Even they keep us grounded and help us “keep the Faith,” as uncle Fred says on departure.

Curious creature.
Like Mother, Like Son!🥰 Thank you Tracy!
It takes a generous and kind village to raise a child well!

Daily Verse

“So then, my beloved, obedient as you have always been, not only when I am present but all the more now when I am absent, work out your salvation with fear and trembling. For God is the one who, for his good purpose, works in you both to desire and to work.”

–Philippians 2:12-13

Autumn Colors 🍁🍂

Vibrant colors this morning.
Andrew’s pretty white house blesses the prairie with aesthetic appeal.
I purchased a dehydrator yesterday, I remember my mom’s dried fruit and jerky disappearing before she could store them. Andrew and I worked until 1:00 a.m. slicing up the little pears we picked on Sunday. I hope my children, if called to marriage, enjoy the company of their spouse. I sure do.
More fruit to dehydrate.
Our “cash crop” sells today. Andrew has invested a lot of his “off work” time these last 18 months providing feed and supplements along with rotational grazing on these steers, I hope he gets a just wage and is compensated for his time and dedication to them.
Thank goodness for her direction, we’d be so lost without her management on which steers to load next.

Potato 🥔 Harvest

We are upheld by our Faith and by uniting our suffering with Christ’s Cross, amazing folks holding us in prayer and by a wonderful distraction of fun work and family here to visit.

Brother Gabriel and I did something right to be bound to these amazing two treasures we call our spouse.
So photogenic.
Grandpa had fun helping us.
Grandpa Bob and Grandma Jen, we have potatoes to share with you, a great yield! Thank you for helping us plant this past spring.
Thank you for the photos Maria.
On this beautiful Sunday, we went to pick more pears and got some very tasty crab apples!

Gratitude

Thank you dear friends and family for all the love, prayers, and support.

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.” —Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Fr. Benz says Vincent is a saint we can go to for intercession.

Eloquence

Andrew and I have been handed a bitter cup to drink for the 5th time in our marriage covenant and we are in the process of losing a 5th child to miscarriage.  This is not a topic that I can write eloquently about, so I will let Scriptures handle the eloquence part.  Anyone who has traveled this road, can empathize with the heavy hearts we carry.

Jeremiah 1:5

I am unable to read through these without weeping.

Scripture Verses

This brings us comfort:

The Hope of Salvation for Infants

Pious Aspirations 🙏

I like to seek counsel after confession and we’ve been supporting each other successfully in utilizing monthly reconciliation/confession.  The priest yesterday shared with me about pious aspirations.  Here’s a link explaining them and I will include some examples:

Aspirations: An Easy Way to Attain Holiness and Joy

Some Aspirations of the Saints:

“My beloved and despised Redeemer, how sweet it is to suffer for You.” – St. Alphonsus

“Do with me, O Lord, as you will and know to be best.” – St. Philip Neri

Our oldest is going from a boy to a young man, he gets to write thank you cards to businesses that supported 4-H.
Our second son has had two piano lessons and appears to enjoy them.

Spiritual Leader

Andrew and I greatly desire heaven and we rely on good spiritual leaders to help us improve our abilities to know, love and serve God, improve our marriage, parenting skills, love for our neighbors, charity, etc.  We are blessed to have an excellent spiritual leader guiding us.

Andrew made pho ba, dumplings, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. I made fried rice and dessert. A very nice evening.
Love, love it when Daddy bonds with his sons through lifelong hobbies.
Andrew just adores me when I start randomly videotaping him.❤️❤️❤️
A landlady and her husband stopped by to visit us on Thursday, she just sent me this article.
We had to move an electric line for the horses to graze the ditch, it was so fun to watch and listen to the kids play.
Unloading square bales.
Autumn Family Time.🍁🍂🍁
Tidy stack under a roof…the only way to store small square bales.
