Tonight we are planning to do….Nothing!!!😇
We attended the Nutcracker last night. When the opportunity arises we like to show the children culture outside of agriculture. The children were mesmerized. We had 3 event staff come up and compliment us for well behaved children. I didn’t have time to tell them that I’m convinced that most of that comes from no screen time outside of family screen time. Wean children off of television, ipads, phones, etc and their attention and awe of the world soars!!!
Mother Mary has seen us through all of the storms in our life…with confidence we know that this will continue for she loves each and every one of us so much! Mother Most Pure, Mother Most Chaste, Mother Inviolate, Pray for Us!

The Stockings were hung with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there… Happy Feast of St. Nicholas! It’s also my Mom and Dad’s Anniversary, please tuck my Dad in your prayers as this is the first time in 51 years he won’t have Mom by his side on December 6th.
Our assignment from the piano teacher was to watch this. We watched it as a family. Inspiring!
We recently butchered. I tend to run anemic especially during certain seasons of life, Andrew has truly perfected gourmet liver…so tasty!!! 😋

“Much that is true of human relationships is also true of our relationship with God. Human relationships of friendship or marriage need time, attention, and care for them to continue and to grow. The same is true of our relationship with God. We have been called to union but we need to respond. As we turn to God in conversion or in a deeper awakening, besides turning away from deliberate sin—which deforms the soul, blocks the relationship and offends the Person who has sacrificed His life for us—we need to positively build the relationship by paying attention to the One who loves us. Prayer is at root simply paying attention to God.”
