It’s 92 degrees right now and the weather report says 100 tomorrow. Andrew got a pool for the little ones, the big children are good sports and are having fun in it too…won’t be long before they won’t fit though. After a morning and early afternoon of mowing the yard, weeding, watering plants, collecting the flags from Memorial Day and tagging calves, the kids are sure enjoying some R &R.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day 🇺🇸.

With our neighbors turning out their bulls, we had to move our heifers to a different pasture so that they are not exposed to the wrong bull. We had five riders join us. The heifers were a challenge at first, but the move ended well.

Must be summer break, the ponies are back on the picket lines.

Grandpa and the children put in place American Flags by the veterans and KIA soldiers at St. Clements cemetery today. We always say a prayer after we are finished in appreciation of their sacrifices for the USA and for the repose of their souls.

Our gauge read 1.9 inches from the rain last night. The pattering on the rooftop was a beautiful sound!🌧️

A chilly but fun wrap up of the year. I mentioned to Andrew that we should have named our two oldest Swift and Fleet, they both took first in the 25 m, 50 m, 100 m and 200 m dashes.
