Tractor

Our tractor is back from the tractor doctor, we sure missed it when it was -68 wind-chill but will appreciate it if we get more snow. It basically had an overhaul.

“Green” cattle eating stored forage without an ounce of diesel used! It’s been very foggy these last few days.

Timely

Quote of the Day

“Think well. Speak well. Do well. These three things, through the mercy of God, will make a man go to Heaven.”–St. Camillus

Today’s Meditation:

“Jesus will turn your sorrow into joy. One can only imagine the shock and bewilderment the Apostles felt when the Lord told them he must go away. Though they could not understand it at the time, his departure was for their benefit. The same is true of the unexpected setbacks and tragedies we experience in this life . . . When I consider the times when I have been confounded by events that seemed so contrary to what I thought God wanted for me, I should be mindful that they were permitted by the Lord’s inscrutable providence for my own good, as difficult as that might be to fathom.”—Patrick Madrid, p. 251

Patience

Due to our Baby needing medical attention, she and I were away from home for a few days.  Andrew, the children, and Grandpa did a great job holding down the fort and making sure life went on smoothly.

Helping Daddy with early morning chores, it was foggy.
Inside chore time. 😂
Happy to be heading home.

Daughters

6 month and 4 year old pictures. Andrew and I are blessed beyond measure!

“A smiling baby is nothing less than having a little bit of living heaven in your arms.” – Unknown
“The smile of a child expands the universe.” – Charles de Leusse

Roller Skating

What a blessing for such beautiful weather in January! Living it up while we can.💛🙏🌞
Dr. Mary and Dr. Lucy were supposed to be taking a nap but had to quickly do a life-saving surgery before they laid down for their beauty rest.😂

Food for thought 💭

“Jesus rebuked him and said, ‘Quiet! Come out of him.’ In this Gospel passage of the exorcism of a demon from a possessed man, we see in the literal sense that Jesus saved a man from the affliction of demonic possession. But there is something more to this miracle. When Jesus drove out evil spirits, it signified that the control Satan had on the world due to the fall of man, the Kingdom of Satan you might say, had now given way to the Kingdom of God. This is our hope! We often allow the scandals, tragedies, and difficulties of our world to rob us of our joy. To the point: do not allow Satan to take you down this path of despair. Jesus was victorious; Satan lost. The problems of our day will give way to the triumph of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Jesus promised this and I will always take Him at His word rather than believe the insidious lies of Satan.  (Fr. Benz-St. Ann’s Parish)

A Christian Point to Ponder: “When I am worried, it is usually because I’m trying to do everything myself. When I’m at peace, it’s usually because I remember that God is in control.”
