We worked some late calves and hauled them out and had some special guests visit.
A very kind cousin offered us straw a stone’s throw a way from our winter pasture. A blessing!

The little girls and I were able to make an exchange of eggs for apples from a sweet lady named Arlene. The apples make the most delicious applesauce.

My husband just came down for lunch and said, “What is that heavenly smell!”😋. The darling young ladies of the house and I have been having fun making grainery pickles compliments of our neighbor.
