🎅 Feast of St. Nicholas

Delivering cheer through St. Nicholas Day cookie platters.  The best part of this is teaching the children, “that it is in giving that we receive.”

More baking…spritz cookies 🎄
Fudge…now it needs to set.
I got distracted by a neighbor trailing his cattle home.
Have you ever read the book, “The Snowy Day,” by Ezra Jack Keats? He must have had a three-year-old son!
❤️🎄 Beginning the cards.🎄❤️
Playing, place the miter on St. Nicholas, who was a Bishop.

Snow 🌨️

I rounded the corner to see all three looking out the window at the strange white stuff that is falling from the sky.

Snow, Snow, Snow❄️
I think he’s ready for the upcoming Christmas program.
The big boys helped Grandpa collect corn husks from Taylor Harvest days, the girls were taking a nap and so we got some more baking done.

Cheer

They are starting to come in … bringing such cheer to the receivers 💚❤️💚

Just had to bring the balloons with to gather eggs today. Happy Feast of St. Francis Xavier!
Remember Ambrose’s fancy baby chicks…here are some of his flock…all grown up.
So pretty!
Fancy feathered feet.

Ham

Andrew’s always been a ham😘

We purchased pork from a home butchered pig. They do not make the bacon or the hams… This is Andrew’s first attempt at ham. Not only is it a beautiful crafted piece of pork, it is also tasty!

4 Months Old 💕

It’s amazing to think that last Thanksgiving we found out that we were going to be welcoming this miracle in to our lives! This life speeds by.  She’s a tough, cheery little girl.  November was tough on her for illnesses, hopefully from here on out she is in complete and happy health 🙏 She is working on rolling over and she thinks she can sit once she’s in the sitting position.
