Eggplants & Tomatoes

Time to sauce tomatoes!  If anyone needs eggplant, please stop by!

The DRE (director of religious education) asked Fr. Zwack to do a practice Mass for the students…basically he walked the students through the Mass and explained everything from the priest vestments to the prayers he says, very informational! I hope the students learned a lot.

Saint Hubertus

Please watch over the hunters & keep them safe.

Heading out for the hunt.
Awaiting Mass at St. Clements… Exaltation of the Cross.
Walking to Mass.

Opposite of Drought

I am not a professional meteorologist, but I’m pretty sure we are not experiencing drought.

A soggy day.
I figured a lit candle would shed a little light on this gray day.
Chili with tomatoes and peppers from the garden… The rain does provide me ample time to make suppers.
Cornbread!
Special K bars for dessert.

Apples 🍎

I love apple trees.  Ours did not bear fruit this year (not a huge surprise since they were planted in May.)  Grandma Anh’s apple tree has many apples and she shared with us.  Her apple tree’s apples are sweet and soft however, and Andrew prefers the tart, hard apples to make applesauce… I should ask around and see if there are any close for the picking.

Yum!
Loves eating apples!🍎
Apple crisp.
Play-Doh on another rainy day!
2nd Grade Religious Education classroom! So excited to teach them!

Thoroughly enjoyed the birthday treat.

We picked our first gourd tonight.

He’s going to give the gourd to his teacher.
